The Publishing Institute offers a wide range of services and classes on the publishing process, writing for publication, and the business of being an author or self-publisher.

In addition, we offer book coaching to help you write and complete your manuscript, whether fiction or non-fiction. Coaching is customized to your needs, and also includes the "Tell-A-Book" option. Simply call in and tell your coach your book!

Self-publisher consulting walks you through the steps of setting up your own publishing company, compiling your book, production, and business start-up techniques.

Sign-in: 8:30 a.m.
Morning session: 9 a.m. to noon
(introductions, overcoming obstacles, visualizing success)

Afternoon session: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. (the publishing process, elements of a book proposal, next steps)

During this 6-hour workshop, you will:
• Learn new ways to organize your thoughts and get them down on paper
• Explore ways to overcome emotional and other obstacles
• Learn more about the publishing process, self-publishing, print-on-demand
• Get inspired and motivated by the others in the group
